Summer has finally hit us here in the UK and I’m hoping we get more than two weeks of sun! It’s easy to neglect our body care when we spend most of the year covered up hiding from the cold and rain.
If you’re in need of a quick fix to revive your glow, keep you hydrated, or in my case squeeze an extra couple of days out of false tan as it starts to wear off… I have rounded up some of my favourite body products to keep you hydrated and glowing all summer long (however long that may be!).

This is one of my most reached for body creams. It is intensely nourishing on dry skin, rubs in easily without the pilling or white cast and absorbs quickly. I love using it in both winter on dry skin and for tanning in summer season. It’s great for prepping pre-tanning as it has nourishing properties which help to maintain an even tan.

A multipurpose oil for use on the body, face and hair. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t use hair oil to tackle my frizz. I love how silky it leaves my hair without running the risk of it appearing greasy or weighed down thanks to its dry touch texture.
It is equally beautiful on the body as it nourishes without the sticky/greasy finish some oils can leave. I often carry around a mini travel size with me in my handbag for on the go hair touch ups and if my cuticles are looking on the dry side! The shimmering version is beautiful for summertime as it catches the light and gives you shimmering limbs.

If you have last minute plans and have ran out of time to tan, look no further than Vita Liberata body blur. It is a body makeup designed to help blur the look of imperfections whilst offering a candlelit glow to the skin. Opt for your own skin tone or a couple of shades deeper for a more tanned look.
My mum introduced me to this years ago when I would watch her apply on her legs before an evening out and I have loved it ever since. It is a staple in makeup artists kits for events and on camera as it photographs beautifully and dries down with no transfer. I especially love to use it to maintain my false tan when it starts to go a little patchy as it fades.

This silky, lightweight oil is luxury summer in a bottle. It illuminates skin with a shimmer of blended gold and platinum leaf that mimics the perfect glowing tan for all year round.
I love to use as the final touch of my makeup on the shoulders and décolleté area. If you like to layer up your scents it has that Tom Ford stamp with notes of amber, sandalwood and fresh floral notes, perfect for wearing alone or as a base layer for your fragrance choice.

Of course, you can also use your face highlighter on your body to mirror the glow on your face. I like to do this trick with liquid highlighters, mix them in with moisturiser for added hydration or foundation for some coverage. I would often use Refy’s highlighter on my collarbones and shoulders before they released their body glow which is designed for exactly that purpose.
