We’ve spoken about face brushes so let’s get into eye and detail brushes! As a Makeup Artist I have a LOT of makeup brushes floating around my kit and personal dressing table (with plenty of duplicates of my favourite shapes for when they’re dirty of course). Though I am yet to find the perfect eye brush set as I’m quite particular with the shapes and designs I reach for – so I have a lot of different brands that make up my collection, as you’ll see in my videos!

As with face brushes, a good brush will do a lot of the work for you so you can achieve seamless results time and time again. If you’re just starting with eye makeup and aren’t sure where to begin, I’d recommend picking up a small handful of different sized and shaped brushes and add as you go. A fluffy blending brush will take you far!

I have rounded up my top brushes and shapes that I find myself reaching for most in hope that it helps you when brush shopping! See the descriptions for what I like to use them for.
