It’s the start of a new month which means I’m here to tell you all about the products I have to report on from the previous month! Although I have combined April and May together for this one and we’re going to call it Recent Beauty Favourites. I missed last months upload for a few reasons, mostly due to my schedule involving lots of travelling and me not trying that many products that had me excited to report on (if you’ve been here a while you’ll know I hate creating or sharing products for the sake of it!).

As time seems to be escaping me at the moment, I’m also behind on this month… but I desperately wanted to get something up for you as there have been a few noteworthy products I’ve been enjoying (I’m sorry, back to regular programming next month!). It seems we are quite heavy on the lip products this month as I have been trying lots of new everyday lip combinations, so I’ve included a few favourites that I’ve had on rotation!

HAUS LABS | Triclone Skin Tech Foundation

I picked this foundation up recently in Sephora as I have had my eye on it for some time and heard great reviews about. I can absolutely see why, this medium coverage foundation feels so lightweight on the skin whilst providing coverage to conceal redness and even skin tone.

It is also skincare infused and wears beautiful throughout the day. It has gone straight in my top 3 foundations at the moment!

BURBERRY | Beyond Wear Powder

A powder I’ve been loving recently for its hybrid formula combining a tinted setting powder and translucent refining powder.

It has a super fine formula so I don’t find that it applies cakey. It helps to mattify and set makeup without being drying, great for those that want a ‘no powder’ appearance.

PATRICK TA | Major Dimensions III Palette

Did I need another eyeshadow palette? No. But I bought one anyway… in my defense the only neutral all matte eyeshadow palette I have lives in my pro kit so I wanted to treat myself to a neutral matte palette, since they are my go to shades.

The formula of these shadows are beautiful, highly pigmented yet both easily blendable and buildable. I love that it contains a brown and black cream formula too that can be used as both an eyeshadow base or eyeliner. A great one for makeup artists to carry in their kit or for on the go!

SUMMER FRIDAYS | Lip Butter Balm

I purchased this recently as I had been itching to try the formula compared to the rhode lip treatments (which I’ve been loving). I have to say I think I prefer the texture of this one more (the rhode ones when cold can often feel grainy on application) though it maybe doesn’t last quite as long on the lips.

It does leave lips looking glossy and feeling nourished, and not to mention smells great! The one I picked up is a clear formula so its one I use in my skincare routine before bed/on no makeup days, I’ll definitely be looking to try a tinted one next!

LISA ELDRIDGE | Sculpt And Shade Lip Liner

Lisa recently introduced a line of neutral lip liner shades to her collection. Since recieving a few of the shades back in April I have not been able to put them down! The formula is creamy and glides on effortlessly whilst having great longevity.

The shade 0N specifically, which if you follow my Instagram or TikTok it is the lipliner I have been wearing in most of my recent videos. It is just the perfect neutral nude undertone for fair to light skin tones and is everything I look for in a lip liner! I’ve also been loving the shade 1N for a little extra depth.

YSL | Loveshine Candy Glaze

Another lip product I have been unable to put down lately and pairs beautifully with the above lip liners is YSL candy glaze in the shade 15.

It is a gloss in lipstick formula that delivers the high glazed shine of a lipgloss with the high colour pay off of a lipstick. I love the jelly like texture of this that doesn’t feel sticky but leaves lips appearing fuller.

YSL | LoveShine Lipstick

A more recent launch from YSL as part of the loveshine family. Different from the candy glaze formula this lipstick delivers a high shine finish with a sheer, buildable colour payoff.

The weightless formula transforms from lipstick to high shine lip oil that helps to hydrate lips with wear. Of course, with that delicious YSL signature scent.

NUXE | Huile Prodigieuse Or Florale

A summer staple of mine is a shimmering body oil, it just brings a look together! I am a big fan of NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Oils’ so I was thrilled to hear that they have brought us a rose gold shimmer version with their new Or Florale addition.

The pearlescent sheen is so flattering particularly on those with fairer skin who can often find bronzey shimmers lean too warm. It is dry-touch meaning that its not going to leave you feeling sticky. Like all Nuxe oils it smells delightful, with floral notes to add to your scent layering.

FENTY | Baked Blush

I audibly gasped when I tried this latest launch by Fenty Beauty! Described as a ‘baked blush’ this blush meets highlighter powder formula delivers buildable colour with an all over glow making skin appear radiant and flushed.

A great option for those of you who want a matte to touch complexion but equally love the glow! It blends seamlessly worn alone, or could be layered over liquid/cream blush as a ‘blush topper’ for a finishing touch. I believe these are limited edition so I’d grab them whilst you can! (my favourite shade is juicy peach)

FENTY | Gloss Bomb Oil

Another fantastic launch by Fenty. Their gloss bomb in the original formula are some of my absolute favourite glosses on the market, and they have brought us three limited edition shades in a ‘luminizing lip oil n’ gloss’ formula! With a glass like shine and almost holographic shimmer, these are irresistibly good.

They glide on smoothly and are infused with ingredients such as Shea Butter, Vitamin E as well as featuring a new, coconut-vanilla scent. I hope they make these permanent and we get some more shade options!

DIOR | Lip Glow (062 bronzed glow)

The last of the lip products that I’ve been wearing on rotation as of late. I love the Dior lip glow formula as it feels hydrating on the lips, leaves a lovely satin finish and I find has great longevity.

The shade ‘burgundy’ was my go to in the winter months which I was sad to learn was limited edition, so I was thrilled to receive the shade ‘bronzed glow’ in the post recently.

It is the perfect bronzey shade for a monochromatic bronze look in these summer months and can be worn alone or under lipstick as a primer.
