It’s about time we got a bronzer from YSL Beauty and the launch of the Hyperbronze bronzer, an extension of the all hours line may have converted me back to using powder bronzer again.
As I’m a lover of the glow, I have a lot of love for cream products and have found myself neglecting powder bronzers. Though I do believe powder products deserve a spot in everyones makeup bag.
This powder bronzer blends seamlessly, with a light buildable, blurring formula. Infused with skincare ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, it leaves skin feeling smooth and hydrated and is available in 5 shades.

If you’ve been here a while you will know my ride or die brow gel is the Benefit 24hr brow setter, and I have been on the hunt for a brow gel that works as well. This one by Rare Beauty is a contender!
It has a strong hold but is flexible enough to give you some play time to shape your brows. It gives brows a fluffy, thicker appearance without being laminated flat to your face and most importantly doesn’t leave a white sticky residue behind!
The best way to achieve a quick, fuss free smokey eye? Liquid eyeshadow! I’ve been loving these new eye tints by Lancome, they are a multipurpose product created to be worn as both eyeshadow and blush (or highlight depending on the shade).
These are highly pigmented and dry down quickly to a no budge finish so if using on eyes I would advise working quickly and in light layers to avoid patchiness!
I know I mentioned a few mascaras last month, but I told you I have been testing a few new ones as it is a category I often overlook.
Lisa Eldridge launched her first mascara which I believe is worthy of a mention. As she is the makeup artist behind on of my favourite Lancome mascaras (lash idole iykyk!) I was intrigued to try this one out.
It is a lifting, defining mascara that gives lashes a fanned out natural appearance. Though a buildable formula, I wouldn’t say it is one I would reach for for fullness or volume but it is perfect for those of you who prefer a more natural look. The silicone wand is everything I look for, curved with a softness that really catches every lash and makes for a comfortable application.

On the topic of Lisa Eldridge, alongside the mascara launched kitten flick liquid eyeliner. It’s not often I do a winged liner on myself, though when I do I am very particular about the brush/applicator and formula.
I like it small and very precise, and it must flow smoothly as well as the formula being high in pigment (there’s nothing worse than having to go over and over your liner to build pigment then it starts to become thicker and drier!)
As someone with hooded eyes and not much lid space, it makes applying liquid eyeliner simple. If you are new to liquid eyeliner I would definitely consider trying this one.
Lancome lipsticks have been a favourite of mine for years (I am yet to try a lipstick formula of theirs I don’t like). Though on a trip to Paris to visit the Lancome labs in March (vlog is on my youtube if you missed it!) I was introduced to the shade Mademoiselle Amanda and has been my go to nude since!
I would describe it as a warm nude with a hint of blush, in the satin formula that feels creamy and hydrating with great staying power.

Love the ease of tinted lip balm but don’t love a satin/glossy finish? Meet Violette FR Bisous Balm! An innovative product (of course created by a makeup artist!) that I would describe as somewhat between a tinted lip balm and a matte lipstick.
The blurring, matte formula gives lips that effortless french girl pinch of colour. Almost like a bitten, flushed lip look with a blurred soft edge. Super flattering on the lips and non drying.

I actually first used this product a couple of months back but have been reaching for it a lot throughout March as a glowy primer underneath my makeup.
It is a multipurpose highlight product that can be used alone, under or over makeup and is formulated with 75% water and infused with skincare properties such as vitamin C.
Its light water/gel like texture doesn’t leave a greasy sticky finish that some products in its category leave, so I would say it’s a nice option for oilier skin types that still love the glow. Available in 2 shades, Starglow (a champagne-gold) and Sunglow (a deeper bronze glow).

An affordable multipurpose glow product that has been all over my TikTok for you page recently. I was introduced to this whilst on a brand trip to Paris with L’Oreal in March and can understand the hype around it.
Available in four shades, this product can be worn alone, under or over makeup in targeted areas for extra glow. It delivers a high shine glow that looks undetectable on the skin.

If you want something that will give you that all over sunkissed glow, look no further than these Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Drops.
I can’t believe it has taken me so long to try this product! These bronzing drops are fantastic, I don’t reach for them as such when I am at my fairest as I think they come off too bronzey for my natural skin tone but I love them when I have a tan.
I especially love to use when my tan starts to wear off my face to match it with the rest of my body and I’m looking forward to using them on holiday/in summer when I want that no makeup lit from within look!

Like with mascaras, concealers is a category in my makeup collection that I usually play it safe with but have been making a point to try new ones of that I can recommend to you.
Though this is certainly a luxury price point, in my opinion is worth every penny. Tom Ford Beauty has not failed me yet, I am a big fan of their shade & illuminate range and this concealer is no different. It is creamy and full coverage whilst requiring little product that blends like butter and looks undetectable on the skin.
I actually purchased this from The Cosmetics Store, a makeup outlet store at Bicester Village for a discounted price so it may be worth checking those out before you splurge!
I want to smell of this scent and this scent only! OUAI I’m going to need this in a hand wash, hand cream and fragrance too ASAP!
I was gifted the body cleanser and scrub in pr and immediately purchased when I found they did it in a body cream. If you like tropical scents, this transports you to a tropical beach with a pina colada in hand. The body cream has a cooling sensation that absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling nourished without the stickiness some creams leave.
Whilst luxury body wash isn’t something you would necessarily purchase on the regular, it does make showering that little bit more special and makes you smell delicious. The scalp and body scrub I am yet to use on my scalp, but as a body scrub, it gently exfoliates effectively without irritating the body. I love using a scrub to exfoliate the remaining of my false tan off and along with any dry skin.
The combination leaves your body feeling so soft and smelling divine. I also think they’d make a lovely gift for a loved one!
