We talk a lot about makeup here, but I want to give some attention to some of the other beauty products I maybe don’t mention enough but use on a daily basis. I’ve been collecting empties of products I make my way through frequently and that I’m always repurchasing. Now my new beauty room is (almost) complete and I’ve been undergoing a huge clear out, I thought now would be a good to time to share so I can toss out the empties and make way for the new!

ELEMIS | Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

I can’t tell you how many tubs of these I have been through. It is one product in my routine that I am always consistent with. You can’t beat the feeling of melting off your makeup at the end of the day!

Having tried countless cleansing balms, I always find myself going back to this one as it easily and effectively removes even the most stubborn of makeup without irritating my eyes/skin. The naked, non-scented one is my favourite closely followed by the new black cherry scent, then rose.

LANCOME | Génifique Ultimate Serum

The Lancome génifique serum is a long standing favourite skincare product of mine, so you’ll likely have seen me mention it before.

It is one of those ‘do-it-all’ serums for me. It is super hydrating, recently reformulated to contain the brands Beta Glucan-CM technology which works to reduce the appearance of fine lines, redness and texture. I use this both PM and AM in my routine as I find it layers beautifully under makeup without feeling sticky or pilling.

RHODE | Glazing Milk

A 2024 discovery of which I am now halfway through my 2nd bottle of is the Rhode glazing milk.

I think this is a unique formula that I love to use alone if I’m being lazy and want a quick splash of hydration. If I’m using it in a full routine I’d apply it between my eye cream and serum as a milky toner step.

I’ve also seen Hailey Bieber herself use it mixed in with her complexion products to sheer them out and add extra glow, which I am yet to try!

LANCOME | Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover

This could be my favourite eye makeup remover of all time! I will never not have this on hand. If I’m quickly switching between makeup looks (which I often am when filming content) this is what I will reach for.

It removes even the most stubborn, waterproof eye makeup effortlessly. A great one for heavy eye makeup wearers, contact lens wearers or anyone with sensitive eyes as I don’t find it irritates like some others do.

KERASTASE | Genesis Shampoo & Conditioner

I’ve been exclusively using this shampoo and conditioner since the beginning of 2024 (unless wearing my hair curly in which case I use the kerastase curl manifesto range) and have no intentions of swapping.

I’ve been experiencing a lot of hair fall over the past few years, I think mostly as a symptom of my Crohns disease and side effects of different medications. Though I also use heat on my hair most days so I’m prone to breakage.

The Genesis range helps to target hair fall due to breakage and I think being consistent with using these has genuinely helped improve the quality of my hair health.

LIVING PROOF | Triple Bond Complex

I think I’m on my 3rd or 4th of the living proof triple bond complex. It has become one of those products for me that I don’t think I can ever be without.

As someone with naturally curly, frizz prone hair that loves a blowdry, I struggle to find products to keep the frizz at bay. This works to intensely nourish dry and brittle strands to promote a smoother-looking appearance.

I apply it once a week as part of my post wash routine, leave for 10 minutes before blowdrying and it helps me achieve a salon sleek blowdry at home.

LIVING PROOF | Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo

I try my best to avoid the need for dry shampoo with spacing my hair wash days out on Sundays and Thursdays. Though sometimes life gets in the way!

When my hairs getting a little on the greasy side and my schedule doesn’t align with my hair wash plans – I can rely on the living proof advanced dry shampoo to squeeze an extra day out of my blowdry.

I like the advanced clean dry shampoo as it works to refresh hair between washes without leaving a residue behind.

KERASTASE | Elixir Ultime

I don’t go anywhere without this product! I’ve lost count of how many bottles I’ve used at this point. I live for a hair oil/serum and this is top of my list as the smallest amount leaves hair super soft and shiny without weighing the hair down or making it feel greasy.

It also contains added heat protection for up to 230°C, so as well as using it as a finishing product I also often use it on dry hair pre heat styling.

KERASTASE | Nutritive Split End Serum

I’m on my third bottle of this now, I love to use it as a concentrated serum on the lengths and ends of my hair. As I mentioned, using a lot of heat on my hair often leaves me with breakage as well as split ends so this feels like an extra protective step.

It helps to seal the look of split ends and I like to use it after blowdrying but before using a styling tool.
