We’re well and truly in the era of simple eye makeup. Gone are the days of 35 pan eyeshadow palettes the size of a small baking tray. Remember them?! When were we ever getting through those before they expired? Though don’t get me wrong, there is always a place for an intricate eye look but most of us don’t have the time (or patience) for that on the daily. With many (including myself) often even ditching the mascara day to day for an ultimate ‘no-makeup makeup look’.
When I want a little something extra that requires minimal effort, I find myself reaching for what I like to call a ‘one and done’ eyeshadow. Something I can scribble on my eyelids and quickly blend out with a fluffy brush or even my finger. I’m seeing more and more brands coming out with their own versions of eyeshadow sticks, liquid or cream shadows and powder singles.
