VICTORIA BECKHAM | Feather Fix Brow Gel

I mentioned a couple of blog posts back that I have been making a point of trying new brow gels as I have been loyal to my Benefit one for some time and I want to be able to recommend you others if that doesn’t work for you.

I was eager to try this new launch by Victoria Beckham Beauty as I am already a big fan of their BabyBlade brow pencil. Available in 5 shades including a clear, this brow gel lifts and defines brow hairs whilst the waterproof and long-hold formula keeps them in place.

There was a gap in my brow department for a tinted brow gel and I love how this one adds a subtle fullness whilst securing them in shape.

NUXE | Le Masque

I love the idea of a hair mask but hate the faff of having to wash your hair twice as most require to be applied to wet hair then need rinsing out. This one by Nuxe however has been a game changer for me. You apply to dry hair as a pre-shampoo nourishing mask, leave for 10-30 mins to work its magic before washing out.

I’m not sure if this is recommended so hairdressers don’t come for me if this is incorrect… but I have been using it on my hair wash days when my hair is too greasy to style. I apply a generous amount and style it in a slicked back bun so I feel like I’m doing something good for my hair before I wash it! I find it leaves my hair feeling nourished and glossy without any residue.

L’OREAL | Elvive Extraordinary Oil

As a naturally curly girl who is prone to uncontrollable frizz I don’t go anywhere without hair oil! Since I had used up my Kerastase Elixir I decided to give this L’Oreal Elvive extraordinary oil a try.

First off it smells DELICIOUS, I love hair products that smell great and this ticks that box for me. It is also multipurpose which I love, it can be used before heat styling to protect or as a finishing touch for softness and shine. It doesn’t leave a stickiness or greasy feel to the hair like some oils do and for £13 I think it is a brilliant option!

OUAI | St Barts Hair & Body Mist

FINALLY! I will shut up about the St Barts range by OUAI (for now) as they have listened and delivered the goods! I was so excited to see that they had launched the iconic St. Barts scent in a hair & body mist.

I would’ve loved a fragrance but I guess this makes more sense for the brand and I’ll take what we can get! I have been wearing this alone, layering with my fragrances and carrying it in my handbag for quick refreshes throughout the day.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS | Lip Liner ‘Muted Mauve’

We have another new favourite nude lip liner to add to the collection! A good friend of mine Claudia Neacsu (who is an incredible makeup artist go check out her socials if you haven’t already!) has been telling me I need this lip liner since we met over a year ago!

Every time I went to purchase it was out of stock so I managed to get my hands on it recently and I am so glad I did! For fair skinned girls this is the perfect cool toned lipliner with a hint of mauve/pink.

YSL | LoveShine Balm

YSL are bringing us the goods in the lip categories lately! The newest addition to the LoveShine family is the Candy Glow Lip Balm (not to be confused with the Candy Glaze!). This tinted lip balm is available in 6 shades covering pinks, nudes and browns. Fusing together the properties of lip balm and lipstick the formula is buttery and hydrating, offering skin caring benefits for the lips.

NARS | Powder Blush

To celebrate their 25 years of blush, NARS upgraded their powder blush formula to provide us with up to 16 hours of wear. Not only this but they brought us new shades too alongside their iconic originals that we know and love, all highly pigmented, blendable or buildable.

The new formula has a blurring appearance on the skin and comes in both matte and shimmer finishes depending on your preference.

RHODE | Pocket Blush

On the topic of blush the highly anticipated cream blush by Rhode dropped this month. Hailey has been teasing this for some time and it was worth the wait.

Available in a variety of 6 carefully curated shades there is a blush for every mood. Though only small (‘pocket blush’ it’s in the name) the formula is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. A skincare brand at heart, the blush contains peptides and tamanu oil. I’m excited to see what’s next for Rhode in terms of entering the makeup scene!

RHODE | Summer Skin Peptide Lip Tints

To join the pocket blushers Rhode also launched 4 new complimentary shades of their Peptide Lip Tints. Sadly they are non scented which I personally feel adds to the fun of them but the shades are all equally beautiful. I believe they are limited edition so if you spot one you like I’d be quick to checkout! I plan to do some blush and lip peptide pairings over on my TikTok soon!

WESTMAN ATELIER | Liquid Super Loaded Illuminator

Admittedly I grew apart from using highlighter for some time. As I like to load on the skincare pre makeup and generally opt for cream/dewy base products, I often didn’t feel like I needed the extra glow.

That being said I was sent this one by Westman Atelier recently and have fallen back in love with adding a touch to my cheekbones, nose and chin. It really does add a subtle difference that helps make features pop. This pearly pink shade is perfect for fairer skin tones and though it’s a liquid formula I don’t find it lifts makeup underneath.
