Like many of us, I’ve been doing a lot of travelling over summer and enjoying the European sun! With that being said, I haven’t been able to try as many new products as usual, so I hope you don’t mind I’ve combined July and August’s best of for this post. Here’s a handful of recent launches and ‘new to me’ products I have been using non-stop over the past couple of months that I believe are worthy of your attention!

Hourglass have done it again with their newest complexion launch. When I say their skin tint is the only complexion product I have found myself reaching for the past couple of months, I mean it!
It delivers juicy, plump skin with just the right amount of coverage. I’d argue somewhere between a tinted moisturiser and a light coverage foundation. I’ve worn it through the day to night and in hot climates and it holds up beautifully, think your skin but better. Available in 18 flexible shades, I wear shades 3 or 5 when more tanned.
If a Makeup Artist puts their name to a product, the chances are it’s going to be good. I am a huge fan of Natasha Denona‘s work and her eyeshadow palettes are some of the best formulas and colour stories (not to mention kit friendly for professionals).
When I saw that she has released a concealer I had to try it. I picked it up in Sephora when I was in Marbella this summer and it immediately found its way into my makeup bag. It delivers weightless and comfortable full-coverage in a luminous yet matte finish skin like coverage. This is coming from somebody who takes a lot to be won over by a concealer.
Cool toned nude lipliner lovers – you NEED to try this one by Makeup Forever! Celebrity Makeup Artist Katie Jane Hughes sold this product to me, she uses it in almost all of her looks.
I’ve been trying to get my hands on it for a while but it’s always out of stock, so if you find it grab it while you can! It has easily become one of my most used lipliners for adding definition and fullness.
Fenty Beauty recently extended their Cheeks Out Cream Blusher line with five new shade additions. I already loved the light, cream, non-sticky formula but was immediately drawn to the shade ‘Raisin Standardz’ a soft blackberry.
I hadn’t tried purple blush on myself before and was inspired to give it a try and fell in love! You can see on my Instagram below. I think it’s a shade that can be flattering on most skin tones as you can sheer it out or really build it up depending on your preference.
Where has this product been my whole life?! I discovered this in a Space NK PR package I received a few months ago and it has lived in my bedside drawer ever since. When I’m dehydrated or as seasons change my lips are the first things to be affected and I can’t stand the feeling of dry lips.
I like applying a layer to my lips before bed as the final step in my evening skincare routine and wake up with hydrated, plump lips the following morning. It comes in a variety of fragrance options which I am yet to try, my favourite being gummy bear.
I think a Vieve product makes its way into every one of these monthly round ups, but I haven’t used a bad product yet! If Jamie Genevieve has anything to do with a product, I trust that I’m going to like it and of course she has not disappointed! A non-biased review, although I was lucky enough to attend the launch dinner this week for Vieve’s latest product launch, their Modern Mascara.
I was eager to test it out after hearing Jamie speak about how it took 3 years to perfect the formula. Mascara is a product I tend to have my cult favourites of, and it takes something special to compete. I’ve worn this mascara all day and into the night and can confirm it didn’t transfer or smudge whatsoever. It delivers volume, definition, length, and separation and is easy to remove at the end of the day. In my opinion, the perfect everyday mascara that does it all.
