With spending what felt like the majority of February nursing a monster of a flu and my beauty room being upside down (if you ready last months newsletter you’ll know what I’m talking about!) – I didn’t get to try as many new products as I’d have otherwise liked to! So my apologies for the absent Best In Beauty post last month. Instead, I have combined both February and March together in this round up of beauty finds! Now my beauty room is back in action and I can access everything, I’m looking forward to trying and reviewing more newness for you!

YSL Beauty have done it again with another great launch in the form of powder blushers. Exactly what was missing from the brands line up!
These small, colourful, yet luxuriously packaged blushers encapsulate a highly pigmented powder formula available in a variety of shades. They are extremely user friendly, allowing you to apply a sheer wash or build up to your desired look.
I love that they come in both matte and shimmering finishes depending on preference.
Iāll admit, Iāve been sleeping on Glossier. Not for any reason in particular, itās just not a brand I have found myself gravitating towards.
Iāve tried their cloud paints in the past and think theyāre great, so when I was recently sent their Black Cherry range which included a cloud paint, I was so inspired by the shade (and scent of the lip balm) that I had to film a try on!
I was unexpectedly wowed by the lip liner. The formula is extremely creamy and highly pigmented with just one swipe, as well as having extreme staying power. So consider this my formal apology to Glossierā¦ Iām intrigued to try more!
I was lucky enough to be invited along to Paris in February with Sisley for an intimate dinner, to experience the launch of their latest Phyto-Rouge Velvet Lipstick.
This powdery, velvet matte lipstick is unlike your traditional matte lipstick as it is less drying and delivers a beautiful rose petal blurring appearance to the lips.
If you are a matte lip lover (like myself) I think you will love these! My favourite shade is ‘beige nude’ but Iām looking forward to trying the deep red shades.
Estee Lauder and LadurƩe joined forces to create the sweetest collaboration! A curation of LadurƩe inspired makeup including a lipgloss trio (new for Estee Lauder), Eyeshadow palette featuring eight wearable neutral shades and two limited edition pure colour lipsticks.
All of course encased in the most beautiful, display worthy packaging. A real makeup collectors collection, I’d get your hands on them whilst you can!
Ole Henriksen is a brand I havenāt tried much from but heard great things about. My skin has been acting up a fair bit recently with dermatitis and dry patches so I’ve been more cautious with what I’m applying to it.
The Apres Skin multi use cream came though my door at the right time so I thought I’d give it a go and was not disappointed! It is a rich (yet non greasy) cream that helps rescue dehydrated skin and sooth and calm stressed skin.
Iām always excited by Lisaās new launches, her latest innovation I think is genius. Developed from her āpinpoint concealerā technique (a personal favourite of mine that I’d recommend searching up if you haven’t heard of it), this creamy concealer pencil does the hard work for you.
I love how it simplifies the concealer step, allowing you to precisely apply directly on top of any blemishes or pigmentation, tap out with your finger and you’re good to go!
On the topic of innovation, Prada beauty launched their first ever mascara with a unique
180Ā° lift and grip wand. Its innovative applicator delivers lift and volume for bold striking lashes!
If you like a chunky, thick lash (minus the clumpiness) which is often hard to find from a small wand, then I think you’ll like this!
Cle De Peau Beaute is the epitome of luxury skincare, having spent 3 days in the Dolomites with the brand in March (still pinching myself!) using exclusively their skincare, I donāt think my skin has ever looked better! Whilst on the pricey side yes, I think their products are worth every penny and if you’re looking to treat yourself to an indulgent routine then look no further.
We were there to celebrate the launch of the Precious Gold Vitality serum. Whilst I am still yet to try it out for myself (due to it containing actives like retinol and me being overly cautious about putting anything new on my currently sensitive skin that could risk a dermatitis flare), I just had to mention it here based on what I learned. I will report back when I do introduce it into my routine!
The luxurious serum, infused with 24 Karat Gold Retinol Complex targets signs of ageing with its highly potent antioxidant ingredients. Working to reduce the look of wrinkles and moisturise, plumping and firming the skin.
It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Armani Beauty makeup products but there isn’t a mascara of theirs I’ve felt compelled to shout about… until now!
Their latest launch brought us the Vertigo Lift Mascara which has quickly found its way into my daily rotation. I love the applicator on this, how it effortlessly lengthens and separates lashes giving the appearance of wider, brighter eyes.
I don’t know how I haven’t mentioned this before, I was bought the Lush sticky dates body spray as a Christmas gift after smelling it on a family member and instantly loving it!
Its sweet and softly-caramelised aroma feels like a warm hug. I’ve been loving applying this after a shower and layering it with my chosen fragrance of the day.
