Those of you with eagle eyes may already have seen some of these feature in my posts throughout October but I’m here to tell you why exactly! I was particularly impressed with complexion and lip products this month (but lets be honest when aren’t I!).

I have a pretty extensive collection when it comes to base products as creating a beautiful complexion is my favourite part of makeup. Though as I mentioned in last months post, I am a creature of habit when it comes to my own routine and have been trying out new foundations to recommend to you and to see if they make the cut.
Shiseido is a brand that is yet to disappoint me. Their synchro skin foundation is brilliant, as is their skin tint but the revitalessence glow foundation immediately blew me away.
It does a fantastic job at evening out the skin tone with a light-buildable coverage that looks undetectable on the skin. With the added benefit of skincare ingredients and SPF30 which leaves a dewy, glowing finish that wears beautifully throughout the day.
Cherry is the colour of the season! I recently attended a Vieve event in London this month to celebrate their new product launches, including the new cherry shade of lip dew, and let me tell you they are worth celebrating!
I already love their lip dews, think lip oil meets lipgloss with pigment that isn’t sticky – and smells good enough to eat! I find myself gravitating to deeper berry tones in the winter months and I haven’t been able to take this off!
On the topic of lips, Rhode have brought us tinted versions of their viral peptide lip treatments in 4 beautiful shades!
If you’re someone who loves the benefits of a lip balm with a flush of colour, I think you’ll really like these! Equally if you’re like me and like the idea of a gloss but can’t stand the sticky feeling or your hair sticking to your lips… I’d describe the texture as somewhere between a gloss and a mask that leaves your lips feeling moisturised and glossy without the sticky feeling!

Estee Lauder have extended their futurist line to bring us science powered skincare infused makeup! You’ve probably already seen me use or heard me speak about the futurist foundation which is probably up there in my top 5 complexion products, so I was so pleased to hear they were extending the line!
The futurist peptide power serum primer, combines the benefits of a serum with a makeup primer, containing peptides and hyaluronic acid for glowing skin. Whilst the skin tint serum contains skin enhancing ingredients that help to improve your skin even after removing it! Not to mention the skin-cealer that is a buildable medium coverage with the benefits of an eye cream!

One for the bold lip lovers! Doesn’t a bright coloured lipstick instantly brighten up your day? I think I’ve adopted that from my Nanna, who even on no makeup days will often opt for a bright coral lipstick for doing the housework.
The Laura Mercier high vibe lipsticks are a highly pigmented, comfortable, satin finish lipstick that leaves a beautiful pearlescent sheen to the lips. Encased in beautiful rose gold packaging and slim bullet for precise, pigmented application in one swipe.

An affordable and beautiful skin tint foundation from Maybelline. It has a lovely skin-like coverage that blends seamlessly into the skin with the added brightening benefits of Vitamin C. With claims of 24 hour wear (though I can’t say I ever wear my makeup for that long) it wears beautifully throughout the day! And for the price point it’s a winner!
